By using CIRCMAR’s reusable packaging solutions you’ll get a partner that streamlines your supply chain. Our reusable packaging model works as a service concept. You order the number of units required through our effective order system, and they’re then delivered to your location in time. You rent rather than buy the units. You then use them in your own production and send them to the recipient with your goods. After your shipment has been delivered to its intended destination, CIRCMAR picks up the transport packaging and handle its return, cleaning, disinfecting, storage, and redistribution. The tracking technology that’s part of the solution offers you far better control of the value chain, as well as live tracking of the freight’s position, temperature monitoring, and more.

CIRCMAR’s reusable packaging solutions have been developed in collaboration with the industry. Our solutions offer economic and environmental gains compared with current single-use transport packaging. Each unit is equipped with advanced sensor and tag/RFID technology for position and temperature tracking. Our solutions comply with new EU regulations regarding use of transport packaging.

More than 80% CO2 reduction

Our products are made of recycled maritime plastic waste. We strive to reuse our products at least 100 times before they get recycled, and we then use their material to make equivalent products in our portfolio. Our LCA-analysis shows that it’s possible to cut CO2-emissions by at least 80% if you change traditional single-use packaging with our reusable solutions. You will also reduce use of raw materials and waste.

Innovative tracking and IOT-technology

Our digital solutions, including electronic product-tag/RFID and intelligent censors, will identify and track the packaging units throughout the value chain. They will among other things monitor temperature, coordinates at chosen intervals, and improve quality with more effective logistical solutions during the transportation of the valuable goods. We thereby also comply with future information requirements from actors in the value chain and the authorities’ requirements for sustainability reporting and compliance with regulations. The censors’ data-incident logging will simplify processes such as claims handling.

CIRCpall – designed for reuse

When we designed the CIRCpall we wanted to improve a range of areas where wooden pallets fell short. We reduced the weight by almost 30% and constructed it to save more space and better withstand damage. Furthermore, it’s designed to be washed and disinfected between each deployment. Finally, the CIRCpall is made of recycled plastic waste from the industry and can be reused more than 100 times before it gets recycled into a new pallet. Again and again.

We comply with the EU-regulations for transport packaging

With CIRCMAR’s solutions you’ll comply with the EU-regulations concerning transport packaging. According to these regulations more than 40% of all packaging within EU/EEA must be reusable in 2030, which will increase to 70% in 2040. Additionally, in 2030 all packaging must be made of at least 10% recyclable material, which will increase to 25% in 2040. These measures demand a sharp waste reduction, and by choosing CIRCMAR’s reusable packaging model you’ll eliminate all waste stemming from transport packaging from your value chain. Our model also contributes to reducing climate emission, food waste, and deforestation.
